COME PLAY!

Come celebrate International Ambedkar Month with us, October 2009.

Barefoot Bhangra!

Fall 2008 we held a Barefoot Bhangra! series at The San Francisco Buddhist Center in The Mission.  Each evening was 3 hours of freestyle movement to danceable Indian music in a festive, alcohol-free environment. The series was great fun.

Tomato Tasting

On September 13, 2008 Jai Bhim International held its second fundraiser,  a collaboration with Eatwell Farm in celebration of the season's bounty, tasting this season's most luscious heirloom tomatoes. Special thanks to meet Nigel Walker, our favorite Organic Farmer and Organic Food Activist and our friends who supported us.

Presentations

Summer 2008 Ann made two presentations about Dr. Ambedkar and the Buddhist Youth Movement in India to the sangha at The San Francisco Buddhist Center, and to the faculty of City College of San Francisco

We value your impressions of the work we are doing, and we welcome your contributions. Stay in touch with us:

We collaborate with organizations and individuals in India to implement projects that include  youth conferences, English and computer literacy classes, leadership training, and cross-cultural mentoring.
