Our Fall 2008 Barefoot Bhangra Nights were a success! 

We raised close to $200 and had fun dancing with our new friends. Each evening was three hours of freestyle movement to danceable Indian music in a festive, alcohol-free environment.

A special thanks to The San Francisco Buddhist Center for graciously hosting the bhangra evenings, and to our Founding Sponsors, who  generously donated goods and services to our raffle: Michele Simmerer at Color Box Salon, haircut; Phil Cusick, acupuncture treatment; Eileen Hassi at Ritual Coffee Roasters, fresh coffee and cafe gift certificate; Joti Singh, bhangra dance class.
